About Victoria
Hello! My name is Victoria and I’m the heart behind Jolly Dog Walks – a lifelong dog lover, experienced dog walker, and former nurse with 27 years of caring for others. After decades in a profession built on trust, compassion, and responsibility, I now bring those same values to the dogs, cats and families I support every day in Burton upon Trent and the surrounding areas.
Dogs have always been a central part of my life. I’ve lived with them for as long as I can remember and spent valuable time working in a boarding kennel, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Today, I share my home with two much-loved companions: a gentle greyhound and a lively schnoodle who keep me smiling and constantly inspired.
As a NARPS UK Member (National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers), I’m proud to offer a professional, trustworthy, and fully insured service. Your pets safety and wellbeing are always my priority. For your peace of mind, I am DBS checked too. I’m also currently working towards my OFQUAL Level 3 Qualification in Canine Care, Behaviour & Welfare, and I regularly update my skills through specialist courses, including Canine Health & First Aid, Care of the Young Dog, Canine Heart Disease, and the Care of Active Dogs.
Based in Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire, I’m proud to serve my local community, including Yoxall, Alrewas, Branston, Dunstall, Wychnor, Fradley, Fradley South, and Hilliards Cross — and all nearby villages within an eight-mile radius. As a dedicated dog walker, I also cater to clients in Derbyshire.
